Sepsis: A Case-based Approach to Management

The course, Sepsis: A Case-based Approach to Management, aims to increase knowledge and improve practice for sepsis management in the hospitalized patient. The course will use an unfolding case study to demonstrate clinical management according to the guidelines and evidence-base literature.

  1. Define sepsis.
  2. Review sepsis pathophysiology.
  3. Discuss sepsis clinical management.

Contact Hours Awarded

Participants will be awarded 1.0 contact hours with 0.5 pharmacology hours.
