Monee Carter-Griffin

Monee’ Carter-Griffin is a collaborative and innovative leader with a passion for nurse practitioner education in the academic and practice setting. She is proficient in curriculum design and development, clinical training, online education, performance metrics and indicators, and methods for improving engagement, retention, and success. She has spent 9+ years in higher education within various roles, including the Associate Chair for Advanced Practice Nursing, Director of the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Track, and serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs. Her current role is the Director of Education for Advanced Practice Providers. Additionally, she has maintained clinical practice as a pulmonary critical care nurse practitioner for the last 10 years. Her clinical interests include pulmonary disorders, health policy, antibiotic stewardship, transition to practice, and health equity awareness/training. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baylor University, a Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from UTA, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Concordia University Irvine. Currently, she is working on her Master's in Business Administration at UTA.
